Floating Suction Unit

A Floating Suction Unit is designed to enable product to be drawn off the tank either from the top surface of the liquid or at a predetermined depth below the surface of the liquid. This means that after filling the tank can be used immediately as any water, dirt or other contaminates remain in the tank.
 
There are various designs of Floating Suction Units, however the essential features include rigid pipe, custom designed pressure tested flotation chambers and flexible swivel joints supplied by leading specialist manufacturers.
 
Land and Marine TankServ can provide the prefabricated Floating Suction Unit complete with an Installation Manual for final assembly and installation at site by the customer.  Alternatively Land and Marine TankServ can install the Floating Suction Unit using our own installation crew at a time convenient for the customer.
