Pre-launch survey of inshore waters at Tain in preparation for the launch of 2No 7.5km long pipeline bundles.  The work included bathymetric, side scan and magnetometer surveys of a 16km x 2km wide corridor.  Further work included position fixing and control of the workbarge LM Balder during pipe bundle launching operations.

Topographical survey of landline route for the Britannia Field connector between the beach landfall and the entry to the Gas Terminal complex at St. Fergus.  Work included survey control of primary sand dune removal and replacement.

Bathymetric, geophysics and magnetometer surveys of 2km x 1.5km wide area of the proposed Britannia Field gas pipeline landfall at St. Fergus.  Further work included barge positioning and bathymetric monitoring surveys during the trenching operations to bury the inshore section of the pipeline.  This work was carried out from the workbarge LM Balder supporting the trenching machine TMIV.

Hydrographic, geophysical and geotechnical survey of the 9km shore approach at Point of Ayr for the proposed pipeline landfalls from the Hamilton and Douglas fields in Liverpool Bay.  The work involved detailed surveying of a 2km wide corridor.

Bathymetric and sonar surveys, including wreck sweeps in the area 100kms east of the Wash in the southern North Sea.  This maritime charting survey covered approximately 800 sq kms and involved over 10,000 line kilometres of surveying.
